Dear All,
Education Support Program (ESP) of the Open Society Institute is happy to launch the resource pack on education assessment that was under development for the last 6 months. We would like to extend our thanks to a wide group of consultants for their dedicated work on the development of resources for the site.
The main rationale for developing the resource pack was to assemble key information for education managers and policy makers responsible for initiation, management and support of the reform processes in this area and to share the collected resources for learning.
This resource pack draws on the wide international experiences in the introduction of assessment and examination reforms. It contains key resources on education assessment and examination, provides quick reference to international organizations and a network of experts involved in assessment, has a collection of case studies and country matrixes on assessment practices and policy issues, and a number of interesting overviews on international and regional assessment practices. Most of the materials are available in Russian.
